Zana Prana is a DJ, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and sonic shapeshifter from Aotearoa. With her otherworldly presence and elven edge, she curates frequency-dipped experiences that stir souls and awaken something ancient, alive, and true.
Blending deep, earth-shaking bass with celestial vocals, tribal percussion, and live instrumentation, Zana crafts raw, ritualistic sound journeys that feel like portals. Her offerings weave orchestral textures, future beats, medicine melodies, and indigenous/world influences — creating immersive atmospheres for ecstatic dancefloors, psychedelic ceremonies, and sound temple spaces.
Having graced stages across Asia, the Americas, and Australasia — including Envision Festival, Unison, High Vibe Fest, Embodiment Fest, Aguila Fest, NZ Spirit, Bali Spirit Fest, and EarthBeat NZ — Zana continues to ripple her sound across the globe, reminding us that music is medicine.

Join us every Sunday morning at the birthplace of Ecstatic Dance, where movement becomes prayer and community becomes family. Originating at Kalani in 2001 with Max Fathom and inspired by Gabriel Roth’s 5Rhythms, this ritual shaped a global conscious dance movement. Our Big Island community has continued this tradition with devotion, welcoming 200–350 dancers each week.
This is more than just dance - it's a space to release, express, and reconnect. Our format follows a wave: beginning in community, building in intensity, and closing in stillness. The DJ set flows through phases of movement, emotion, and rhythm.
We begin with a grounding Opening Circle to share intentions and guidelines. The journey unfolds with music that rises and falls like the ocean. We close with connection, shares, and announcements. A yoga warm-up offered by Movement Church prepares the body & spirit.
