Apologies for the delay I had intended to send this out yesterday. This weeks #AlohaFriday email is coming to you late on Saturday...why? A legit mid-flight schedule Tsunami Warning threw my schedule into a swirl of last-minute Saturday meetings and unexpected shifts. Summer 2025 has been chaotic, beautiful, and wildly transformative — a season of deep growth on every cellular level.
One moment that perfectly sums it up? While flying from O‘ahu to the Big Island, a rainbow appeared outside the plane window just as tsunami alerts started blaring on every phone mid-flight. Suspended between islands, caught between awe and wtf is going on right now & "am I going to die tonight" dread… I buckled up, held on tight, and leaned into the mystery of creative chaos and unknown bliss of inspiration that comes when your adrenaline shoots about 111%.
That’s the energy right now: colorful, unpredictable, and full of aloha spirit.

Originating at Kalani in 2001 with Max Fathom and inspired by Gabriel Roth’s 5Rhythms, this ritual shaped a global conscious dance movement. Our Big Island community has continued this tradition with devotion, welcoming 200–350 dancers each week.
