EVENT DETAILS: Desert Dwellers consists of Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, who began their careers as independent music producers and DJs in the deserts of New Mexico and California. Coming together in the late ’90s after connecting through the legendary Moontribe scene, today the duo enjoys a reputation as one of the most pioneering and prolific downtempo, psy-bass, and tribal trance acts in the United States. Desert Dwellers have toured extensively across six continents, spent a 7-week stretch on the road with renowned psychedelic artist Shpongle, and have performed at dozens of festivals, most notably Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, Envision, Coachella, Rainbow Serpent, and Boom. Taking a new approach to digital production, Amani and Treavor have combined the raw sounds of the natural world while skillfully blended deep bass, earthy percussion, etheric voices and cross-cultural instrumentation into sonic incense for the mind and body. Bringing the electronic music vibe to the yoga scene, and the sounds of yoga to the electronic dance scene, Desert Dwellers’ global sounds are the bridge between the worlds of dance and movement. Wake up your Wednesday! Big hugs and many blessings to my good friend John Ball Running Eagle for helping promote the sharing of this beautiful collection of tracks!
A PRAYER FOR WATER FOR ALL. WATER is LIFE.
I STAND FOR LIFE. I STAND WITH STANDING ROCK.
“”NEW MUSIC RELEASE on the #NODAPL Day of Action! Water is Life!!
“Stand With Us to Bless the Waters” is our prayer of solidarity for the Lakota Sioux nation, & all the Water Protectors who have converged in North Dakota Standing Rock Indian Reservation at the Dakota Access Pipeline. This is the first time in centuries that all the indigenous nations of Turtle Island (America) have come together in unity & guardianship for our Earth. This unprecedented tribal convergence has been catalyzed by the pipeline, but is representative of something much larger & more profound than a protest.
In support for the situation in North Dakota, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) and Summit Jaffe (Numatik Music) were both separately inspired to create music for water and prayer. Coincidentally, the two tracks were both finished at the same time on fall equinox and they were also written in the same key, making it ideal to interweave them into a one unified piece of music. While sitting in the New Mexico Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa right after UNIFY Festival, Amani and Summit had the inspiration to curate this remix album. Producers from all over the world, like EarthCry, Mystral, Soulacybin, Martins Garden, Ecometric, GUMI, and Twin Shape added their unique psychedelic downtempo flavors. Native elders like Delbert Black Fox Pomani Delbert Black, John Ball Running Eagle, and Yona FrenchHawk imbued the music with intentional water prayers. United together, we humbly offer this medicinal musical journey in support and healing. Water is Life!
All profits from this album will go to Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.””

Very excited to share a new musical prayer that is very speical and close to my mermaid heart this morning. New Liquid Bloom track: “Bless the Waters” is a music fundraiser for the Standing Rock Water Protectors.
“The brand new track ‘Bless the Waters’ was produced by Amani Friend and imbued with a Native American prayer written by my good friend John Ball Running Eagle of the Sioux Nation and a Native American song dedicated to the ‘Holy Water’ written and sung by Black Fox. John Ball was also a student of Dr. Masaru Emote from Japan, whose research revealed that water holds intelligence and memory. Following a path blazed by previous Liquid Bloom releases, this music flows as an intentional journey that can be used daily to energize and re-structure water you consume, and to send out your daily gratitude to the liquid lifeblood that creates and sustains life on this planet.
100% of the money generated from the sale of this music will be donated to the Standing Rock water protectors of the Sioux Nation, and to The Water Project charity, which builds wells around the world for those in need of clean drinking water. Thank you for your support.” – Quoted from recent Facebook post about the track
After you download…”As Above, So Below.” Here’s something YOU can do if you can’t be at the Sacred Stone Camp in North Dakota in person. Play this song TO the water you plan on drinking. It will energize and align the water with the frequencies of Gratitude, Love, and Truth. When you consume the water, it will align with the water already in your body and entrain the water in you to frequencies of Gratitude, Love, and Truth. As you give your water back to Creation, your water will similarly align and entrain the waters throughout the World to Gratitude, Love, and Truth. This will help us find a good solution Honoring ALL consumers of water as “We Are All Related.” – John Ball Running Eagle
