Over this past year, I’ve said yes to many unknowns, landing on-island with little more than faith in my own creative dream. While the road hasn’t been linear, it’s led me into deeper alignment, purpose, and community than I could have ever imagined.

Sonic Healing: Therapeutic Sound Meditation with Signa

Surrender into sacred sound with a gong-centric experience—featuring 30 minutes of Paiste gong immersion, alongside Tibetan bowls, harmonium, authentic voice, mantra, chimes, and other sound healing instruments. Gong is one of the oldest tools for sound healing, known to shift brain waves from Beta to Theta & Delta, promoting deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and self-healing.
Gong vibrations resonate with the body’s natural frequency, supporting the release of stress, exhaustion, trauma, and grief, while opening meridians and strengthening the magnetic field. It’s said the gong contains all the sounds of the Universe—vibrating with the primal tones of creation.
All are welcome (ages 11+), whether new or experienced in sound medicine. Participants are invited to lie in savasana or sit to receive.
What to bring:
• A pad, mat, or blanket for comfort (some provided for elders or those needing extra support)
• Eye pillow, scarf, or towel for covering the eyes
• Layers for temperature shifts

Reconnect to your creativity in an embodied spirit-led, earth-based, intuitive way that is fun and healing!
From the Cancer New Moon on June 25th to a second Cancer New Moon July 23rd, we will journey with one element a week, in alignment with the moon, as we open ourselves up to the wisdom of the Earth and Cosmos.
This is a practice of getting into our bodies, connecting with Spirit, our feelings, and the elements—and allowing ourselves to feel our way through expressing and exploring our intentions.
To support the process of letting go of the thinking mind—and instead allowing our spirit and heart to take the lead—we lean into our bodies, the earth, and the elements.
Each session we beging with a somatic meditation to connect with our bodies, the aina, and the element of the week.
After clarifying our intentions through this meditation, we move into the art therapy and create our portals on the page.
To hold and facilitate that process, Alicia Sunflower offers sound healing, channeling the wisdom of the element of that week, to guide the process on a frequency level.
This combination of embodied creative expression and grounded earth-based elemental wisdom, supports a mind-body-spirit healing.
Each week, a variety of art supplies are provided, and no previous art training or art skill is required!

Sundari Wedance has become another one of my favorite dance portal anchors since moving to Big Island. In the midst of the inevitable waves of stress and the busy rhythms of life, having a consistent space to move, breathe, and be held in community through dance has been a blessing. There's something incredibly healing about returning to the dance floor each week—to shake it out, tune in, and come home to myself. These dances remind me that no matter what’s happening externally, there is always a way to reconnect with joy, presence, and embodied peace.

Join us every Sunday morning at the birthplace of Ecstatic Dance, where movement becomes prayer and community becomes family. Originating at Kalani in 2001 with Max Fathom and inspired by Gabriel Roth’s 5Rhythms, this ritual shaped a global conscious dance movement. Our Big Island community has continued this tradition with devotion, welcoming 200–350 dancers each week.
This is more than just dance—it's a space to release, express, and reconnect. Our format follows a wave: beginning in community, building in intensity, and closing in stillness. The DJ set flows through phases of movement, emotion, and rhythm.
We begin with a grounding Opening Circle to share intentions and guidelines. The journey unfolds with music that rises and falls like the ocean. We close with connection, shares, and announcements. A yoga warm-up offered by Movement Church prepares the body and spirit.
